How do I get a hold of the seller if they are not responding after multiple attempts?

I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to know how to get in contact with the seller to purchase a gun. I have already purchased a handgun through here. I made multiple attempts to contact the seller because I would like to make a deal and they’re not responding to me. Is there anything I can do to get a hold of the seller?

I’ve messaged a few people who haven’t responded or responded weeks later. I just move on, I don’t want to deal with a flake.

Right now they’re not responding to your message, later they won’t show up for the exchange leaving you sitting in a parking lot like a sucker.

You offered 1550 on a 2300 p365 listing. And offered 1800 on a 2200 p365 listing. You are what some may call a low baller. You have made many low ball offers on many listings. Pretty sure the seller ain't going to sell to you.

There is no issue on lowballing. I lowball myself. You just gotta do research on how and when to lowball. Maybe offer a trade to exact the lowball offer, or don't expect a 25-50% discount on a gun.

You know for your offers on p365 listings listed at 2k+? You know you can buy a on-roster p365 for much less, and buy axg parts to make it p365 axg for much less?

The chronic messaging op is doing when he's clearly being ignored would be a red flag for me and as a seller I wouldn't want to deal with op.

OP in my experience with third party marketplaces, the place isn't really a bazaar and nobody really wants to go back and forth to make a deal especially if a seller "knows what he has".

you cant force them to respond.. I wish you could. There are people who just disengage and there is nothing you can do about it. If someone lowballs me, I tell them no and if its a crazy lowball- I respond that I should pay them to take it off my hands, but I never leave it open as that is rude. But there is nothing you can do. One time I wanted to buy something and I went through their old posts and they listed a phone number and I messaged a seller that way and got him! You can try that and look for an email or phone number but thats about it. Also don't lowball too much, if you cant buy it then dont buy it

I understand if I low balled someone, but I just do that to test the waters. But I would like to make a fair deal that works out for the buyer and seller. I’m constantly messaging the seller because I actually want to buy the gun. I just think it’s disingenuous to the buyer as I’m willing to make a fair deal for the both of us. As I have said, I have purchased a Glock through here without much issues.

I can definitely buy it. That’s not the issue. But I also want to workout a deal if I don’t have to pay full price. Even if he’s willing to knock the price down at least $200 is still reasonable. That’s my point. I understand not getting a significant discount on it becaue that’s most likely not going to happen. But it’s just disrespectful to a potential buyer who’s willing to buy it.

You may have been put on an “Ignore” list and blocked by the recipient. Maybe take the hint and move on. Between strangers on the internet no one owes you anything- including respect. ✌️🤷‍♂️

With respect (lol),

Realest 💩 in this thread

Another thing to look at is the last time they were on here - if they haven't been here since you sent a PM, then perhaps that explains why they haven't replied.

Some people on here have a life to live - I don't but I'm told some do. :)

Honestly, I would just move on if they're not responsive. It's harder than you'd think to find a reliable buyer/seller. I find if someone I'm working with is non-responsive, I just move on. Plenty of inventory out there.

Then start your message off by, sorry for lowballing, I realized I was lowballing, now I understand why I was ignored, ask would you consider $200 less a low ball, if they are willing, then you are willing to buy. I noticed you would keep posting in the public comments, somewhere along the lines of “if we could come to a deal”; that’s still somewhat beating around the bush.

My point is it helps to say sorry and directly acknowledge the situation.
