I wish they would. CA is effed up with their laws. The California market is too big to ignore..
I think the good thing about this is that we can own an on roster 2011 and not be afraid of it becoming a 4k paper weight if it breaks. We can ship out a 2011 for warranty work and not be afraid they won’t transfer it back to us.It's great, and I'm surprised Staccato wants to F- with the Commiefornia nonsense, but let's be real...
Like a lot of the homies in the reddit thread linked, I ain't paying that bullextra tax, I'ma wait for them to go on sale used. And if we're being completely honest, the way pricing has gone with VP9's, you're probably paying about the same getting a used free state version of the pistol.
Sorry to be "that guy", lol.
A $5000 Staccato is not going to give you a $5000 trigger press. If you have two of the exact same shooters and give one a $5000 Staccato, and give the other a $1000 Sig with $4000 ammo to practice with, the Sig shooter will be the better shooter every time. Are these Staccoatos worth all the hype? Not familiar but live the way they look.. Will I pay $5k for one, is it that much better than a $1k Sig for instance?
It does seem like guns that have an on roster version do have much more reasonable off roster prices. Looking at M&P 2.0 and a used off roster one doesn’t seem like too bad a deal once you account for taxes and lack of some features for the on roster versions. It's great, and I'm surprised Staccato wants to F- with the Commiefornia nonsense, but let's be real...

The picture says HD which is what they’re calling the new ones that take Glock mags o think. Kinda sucks for people who bought the New C with the new mags? Only one or two guns that takes the new proprietary mags I think?Which model is this based on and which mags does it take? Standard 2011 frame and mags? The new (and lame) proprietary frame and mags? Glock mags?
