Man if you're happy with it that's all that matters. Personally I prefer more utilitarian weapons, unless the engraving were done by some famous artist and the value of the gun went through the roof. Let's hope your engraver hit's the Gustave Young, Louis Daniel Nimschke or Alvin A. White gun engraver big time, for the sake of your heirs.
 
For me I can appreciate it, I like looking at it, but wouldn’t own it lol. It’s like some art that art people like looking at in a museum, but wouldn’t take home.
