3-30 law, how does it work if someone PPT more on one transaction?

I'm debating on unloading some of my firearms and was looking through some of CA laws. Saw that starting 1 April, the number is increased to 3-30 days when buying.

if you're allow buy 3-30 and a seller is allowed 6 transactions wouldn't mean a total of 9 firearms. Assuming that there are even that many buyers that would be able to buy 3 at a time. Most I've done is 2 but that's when I'm out of state. You gotta be hardcore collector if you buying 4 or 5 at a time, which I don't think many of us are.

Say if someone wants to buy >3 on one transaction, is that even a thing? Does FFL hold for pick up after the 30 days or do they just do another transaction after 30 days?

Under California Penal Code section 16730, you can sell firearms without a dealer license only if the transactions are "infrequent." This is defined as:

• Less than six transactions per calendar year.
• A total of no more than 50 firearms across those six transactions.

This nonsense will continue as long as gun owners keep voting blue. This temporal infringement on a constitutionally-protected right will, of course, be struck down as unconstitutional (just as the 1 in 30 infringement was), but the state will then pass a law limiting purchases to 5 in 30 days. And round and round we’ll continue to go. In the meantime, the best thing you can do is get an FFL 03 and COE.

1. Number is decreased, not increased. 1-30 was ruled unconstitutional and a mandate issue by the 9th circuit. There's no limit right now.
2. Sellers are only allowed 5 transactions or 50 firearms, whichever comes first.
3. For buyers it's not 3 transactions, it's 3 firearms unless the buyer is exempt. FFL03/COE holders and LE are exempt. You buy 3 fire arms and the FFL holds them for minimum of 10 days, then pick up all 3 firearms. Can't start DROS on anymore firearms until 30 days after the first DROS was started.
4. If a buyer is not exempt, or is exempt but exemption wasn't added to DROS, and tries to buy a 4th firearm in a 30 day period, then from what I've read the DROS would be rejected.

BTW, from what I read, this 3-in-30 nonsense includes PPTs. So you could run the clock with 1 dealer sale and 2 PPTs and then have to wait 30 days to conduct any additional purchases (Dealer or PPT).

Having living here most of my life before moving it felt normal but after living in a free state for awhile and now moving back, it hate all the stupid gun laws exponentially. I guess you don't know what freedom is until you're free.
