its going to take a few years to wind through the 9th circuit but as of now we are limited to 3 guns a month.

Until that rule is thrown out my recommendation is to just get your FFL03+COE, you're exempt from purchase limits.

Plus you can buy ammo online shipped to your house for generally far cheaper than buying local.

Edit: https://ammoseek.com/ to find the cheapest option for the ammo you want and make sure to call the vendor if you're not sure if they'll ship to CA with FFL03+COE. Some don't list it on their site.

COE + FFL03 pays for itself very quickly. Combined with a ccw you have have it shipped everywhere as well (including city of LA). More annoying is the 5 PPT transaction limit per year stuff.

My understanding was LA doesn't allow shipping ammo in general. But, reviewing Los Angeles Municipal Code § 55.11, seems there actually is an exception for CCW holders. Sadly it only mentions FFL for "firearm dealers".

I've seen that info floating around on caguns reddit. Not off the top of my head. But yes, you can but you need all three - CCW, FFL03 + COE.
