I already have a quest 3 so was considering it but I don't like how its not a buy once thing and has a monthly/yearly fee.

Yes, I would say useful if you’re not a GM and don’t have time to do live fire often. Helps with transition and movement and stage planning as long as you don’t game and you use it as a tool. Subscription is cheaper than 1 range trip for me so I’m fine with it.

There was a stretch where personal commitments kept me from doing any live fire for about six months. When I came back, I jumped straight into an outlaw match. This was how I performed.

Luckily, it was an all-steel match. During those months away from the range, steel was exactly what I had been focusing on in VR.

Anyone else want to weigh-in on this? I'm thinking about taking the plunge. I've never even had a VR headset of any kind but I'll probably pick up the Meta 3.

Maybe for a true beginner this would help but I think once you're proficient something like this will be a waste of time. At some point you have to spin laps

Their marketing is slick but from what I know as a competitor and instructor I'm just not seeing the crossover at a high level

The coolest aspect is for like Police where they can do scenarios, now that seems like the real application
