Any reason to keep gen 3 Glocks?

It would be interesting to see a head to head comparison is actual shooting accuracy of a Glock G19/17 Gen 2 vs Gen 3 vs Gen 4, vs Gen 5, and off course Gen 6. There are plenty of feature changes, triggers, grip, mag wells, etc upgrades, but as far as accuracy, I would be bet all are VERY similar. My personal opinion is there is always a bias towards the new Gen being better (hence the crazy Gen 6 prices).

They aren't, the mechanical accuracy of the.later gens id absolutely better. Whether you are good enough to notice is a different story

It’s funny that the VAST of majority of my friends and family that own a firearm didn’t even know they owned gen 3 Glocks or that there even were generations.
Some of them haven’t even shot in years or unless I drag them to the range and they’re both oblivious and don’t really about 2A legislation and restrictions.
I get they have other life and interests but I basically have to shame them for being unprepared for home defense, to get them to train.
