Anyone taking their Dad shooting tomorrow, Fathers Day

Yea I think the long term stuff people remember despite forgetting a lot of other things.
 
My adult son and I went to the range, had lunch, then played a couple hours of pickleball. Lovely, very special day, was so whipped.

Went to a different type of range with my dad to send some high speed projectiles flying yesterday. He’s in his 80s and shot a 78 and I shot a 92 but he’s also got decades more golf experience than I do. Wish I’d started playing with him many years ago. Happy Father’s Day to all!
 
My dad/uncle gave me my first gun (.22lr Marlin bolt action) when I was 11-12 and first learned to shoot at summer camp, but nowadays my dad thinks guns are evil and have a mind of their own and kill people out of spite. When I was dating a single mom like 5 years ago, he asked what he could get as a Xmas present for her son and I suggested a TOY archery set, he and my stepmom wouldn’t buy it because it was a “weapon.” He’s ideologically captured and beyond help; I’ve given up and just don’t bring it up anymore but won’t let it ruin our relationship. It’s crazy because he’s rational about so many things but is a total fanatical ideologue about guns and a few other lefty culture war topics, it’s really sad.
