Anyone use WBT Guns?

I see their ads on CAGuns all the time. They look like they have a great selection. Anyone use them before to ship to FFL. How is the service? Thanks

TLDR: Customer service is great. Yes, would buy again.

I bought an M1A scout and had it shipped to Guns Direct. As I was inspecting it, moments before the dros, i noticed the bolt lock did not work. I did not continue the paperwork. I asked GD to hold it while i called WBT. Over the next few days, WBT paid for the return shipping of the defective one, and the shipping of a NEW one (not warranty, I made that clear since this gun was not dros'd) back to GD. This new one was fine. No extra money out of my pocket. Both WBT and GD were really great on this transaction.

They are great and I have bought a few items from them since they are local to me. If it is a long gun and they need to make it California compliant, especially if it is not easy to find in the state, then expect a longer lead time. They may have gotten faster but that was the only thing but they clearly mention it on their site and during the checkout process as well

Yes and the fact they let the receiving dealer “charge” the excise is a plus because not all dealers charge it or care too so win win

Yep! Bought a pistol from them was at my local FFL 3 days later.

One of the biggest things is that they sell a lot of rifles that are difficult to get in CA.

Just read the fine print when ordering from them.

I placed a 50% deposit with them in February not knowing they cancel orders after 6 months with no refund or % of refund if you don’t DROS/pay in full.

This was my fault for not knowing and reading their policy and unfortunately with my work schedule being out of state most weeks out of the month the their scheduling availability I was out the money after 6 months.
