Belom 124gr 9mm ammo light primer strikes

Hello all I just bought 1,000 rounds of belom 124gr 9mm from Route 66, they said it was a good brand and reliable. The ammo is terrible light primer strikes left and right, out of my steel frame pdp, 2.0 competitor, and a 365. Has anyone else had this problem with this brand? Really just want to see if it was only me having this problem, feel like I wasted over $300.

I've run a decent amount of that ammo and don't recall having any issues, other than maybe one or two light strikes out of my X5 legion which has lighter springs. That's to be expected with Euro ammo though.

I took maybe 300 rounds to the range and that’s the only ammo I had so I used it. I don’t want to return it after using a decent amount, just wouldn’t feel right.

If anything, they'd likely just report the issues to the distributor they got it from
You paid for a product. The product didn't meet the quality expectations. You don't have to go in a be a Karen or a hole about it. Just explain the situation, what your experience was, and let them know they may have received a bad batch. I've worked in sales for a while and I always appreciate when customers respectfully let us know about any issues so we can make sure it's not a part of a larger issue or negatively affect our reputation. That's just my 2 cents though and I'm just some guy on the Internet. Obviously if it's not worth it to you and you're fine with it, you don't have to do that

Unfortunately this is just the reality of buying cheaper ammo, especially foreign made stuff. It just ain't gonna work well in some guns and it's gonna be dirtier. There really isn't anything the store or distributor can do. You want more consistent ammo, you gotta pay a little more.

That's true as well. I've used the same brand and haven't run into issues, and I know with any range ammo there's a chance to have some duds along the way. I still don't think it hurts to make the store aware even if the goal isn't to get a refund or a replacement product. As the store I'd rather know if there's a quality issue with a batch of something I'm selling to customers and telling them it's good to go

I have gone through about 5 belom buckets from them thru my xr/mr920 and honestly don’t think ive had any issues maybe 1 or 2 but nothing crazy.

Should run fine, they are cheap and dirty Serbian made rounds

I went through two buckets of the 115gr Belom without issues in my XD, XDM, and Echelon 4.0C. That said, it's definitely a bit dirtier than other brands and I've found the primer pockets somewhat tighter than normal, making seating primers when reloading the brass challenging sometimes.

I'd probably go with another brand next time.
