Best MRE food ?

Heater packs and Tabasco were the best improvements ever made to MREs!
The heater packs rocked during cold weather training. Stick it under your flak jacket after warming your meal and you had hours of heat

Only thing better than MREs is when you’ve been in the dessert for a month and they break out C-RATS and fresh lettuce as a salad.

Good eating

Sometimes I'll dig an MRE out for lunch, just for the pure nostalgia of it. I have a couple cases floating around still.

Hay Jason,

Those are the same cases I have, do you happen to know the brand? (it would save me the time of digging to the back of the (overfilled) storage room.

Thanks and no worries either way

Matt

The manufacturer should be "Ameriqual", I believe. Great... now I want one.

Thanks!

I can't say I've ever "wanted" one but have ate my fair share on multi day hikes, light camping and motorcycle trips.

Anyone ever try “legacy” food? I got a deal on a huge pack about ten years ago. I just kept adding more legacy to my rotations. I’ve only tried it a few times. Made in Utah. Mormons know how to prep. I figure I’ll just tag along so to speak.
