Just got my sig P238 HD , now need ammo, who usually sells the cheapest ammo in cali? I live in LA but inland empire (Ontario, Rancho) works as well
 
Order it online and ship to a local ffl that offers this service and pick up when it comes in.

Here is my process:
Find local FFL that allows you to ship ammo to them for pickup. (https://www.bcfainc.com/content.php?page=policies)
Go to ammoseek.com and see who has the cheapest/best ammo i want.
Call the company to make sure they will ship to cali. (some do and some dont)
Order online and pay all taxes (FFL will check to make sure you paid that dumb extra tax on top of normal dumb tax also)
Have it shipped to the FFL you decided on
Track and pick up when arrives
Do the required ammo background check and pay fee and should be good to go.

Its been a little bit since doing this like a .couple years but I dont think anything has changed regarding this process. Correct me if im mistaken please. (I know you will)

Or just find it on here or CALGUNS in the marketplace and haggle with the person. Either way is a good way to find the cheapest ammo at the moment.
 
Sportsman's sometimes has great prices on ammo. Their normal prices are kinda average, but they are constantly having sales on guns and ammo. And their sale prices are actually the best you will find locally, unlike Turner's who generally charges more and their sales simply bring their prices down to the normal price of competitors.
