Yea. So there is a little trap door on the side of the mag. You lower the magazine follower spring. Drop in your 10 rounds and slowly lift up the magazine follower spring. Operate your AR as normal after that. I think its the best option out there because that is the only "cali compliant feature" that you need. You can keep your adjustable stock, muzzle brake or flash hider. No need to separate your upper receiver and top load. If you go a free state you can easily remove the compmag.
