Same here. I have the Shadow 2 Compact which I love. I'm more accurate with it than any other handgun I own, including my Staccato. Now I want the new Carry.

Hope you guys are aware that the S2 Carry is just a slightly bloated P-01. It doesn't use the S2 trigger mechanism, but instead uses the P-01's.

That’s what I was thinking. It’s more cost than a Cajunized P-01 and Aluminum grips.
Pro package is $300 if you do
It yourself , you can still find used P-01’s.

You don’t really need a pro package, just a spring kit and “Old Style “ trigger . Race hammer will get faster splits but you don’t need that for a carry gun.

I assume. It's the same basic internals of the CZ-75/75 Compact. There definitely is a firing pin block, which isn't present in the S2 (which is one of the reasons everyone wants the S2 trigger).

I would still do it. I have a P-01 with about 2,500 rds through it. It is one of my favorite to shoot without any trigger mods.
