📢 Classifieds Update — Effective Monday, September 21
Starting Monday, the free Classifieds ad limit will be lowered from 3 to 2 active ads.
Verified accounts will keep their limit of 3. All other account limits stay the same.
Existing ads are not affected and will remain up until they expire.

Having to "leave" each individual DM (even the DMs that form a single chain) by opening them one at a time individually and selecting "leave" is a process that could be improved.
I selected 5 DMs (using the checkbox on the right) hoping that would enable a bulk deletion option, but it didn't seem to enable anything.
There should be a bulk leave option.
Limiting non $ contributors to 100 DMs and making the user do maintenance so they can receive future DMs also seems like a process that could be improved.
The bulk option mentioned above would help make the maintenance easier.
Another way to handle it could be to allow the user to opt in to a process (ideally, when they sign up) like:
Say when I'm at 100 DMs and somebody sends me number 101.
Assuming I've opted in, delete my oldest DM (now I'm at 99) and allow the new DM through as #100.
Or when a opted in user receives DM #100, automatically delete the oldest DM, so they are then at 99 DMs.
This would allow the user to always receive the next DM.
The best option to me is to not restrict the user's number of DMs.
In conjunction with this, every six months ask the users upon logging in to review their DMs and to delete any that they don't really need to keep.
I'm bringing all this up because there are probably a lot of "non $ contributors" (myself included) that contribute in other ways to the success of this site.
We add valuable free content that brings in new users and keeps them and the existing base coming back by::
Sharing our knowledge with users that need help
Adding items to the market place for buyers to peruse/buy
Buying items from sellers in the marketplace
All the above should be increasing traffic
I understand you have a business to run and have to draw the line somewhere, but the limits imposed upon non $ contributors that I've seen, don't make sense to me.
While I'm speaking my mind, the limit of 3 marketplace listings should be changed to 1 per marketplace category (maybe even 2 per IMO).
It seems to me that adding good content and adding additional listings in the marketplace should only make this place more attractive to the existing user base and for new users as well.
