The ffl tried to double charge. I didn’t pay extra but I didn’t like the mistake or was it intentional, I’ll never know.

I won’t out the ffl so don’t ask.

Beyond that, maybe I’m at that age where my cash means more to me than another gun.

The extra tax stings a bit too.

I hate to think it’s my last new gun but it sure wasn’t a fun experience and not something I’d do on a whim anymore.

Double charge as in two guns for one gun? What gun?

Usual ffl you go to? Repeat customer? Did you talk to management about it? Or was it management that tried?
Are there other local ffl options for the future?

No, I had to correct them and they were insistent. It didn’t feel like a mistake but I’m open to the possibility which is why I won’t out them.

Sounds like scammers. DROS price is by law. No way they don't know that
