DROS multiple firearms

I've never attempted to DROS more than one firearm at once, this'll be the first time. Is it supposed to be one DROS fee to cover both (or more) firearms?

Yes, one fee per 4473. My old go to 01 used to hold the paper until I had 5 to process if I told him in advance I was looking for more guns. He'd only charge me $25 bucks for one 4473 and never charged for receiving. I did that at least 5-7 times. That's how you end up with 50 SKSs and dozens of other weapons PAX

Like Echo1 said, 1 DROS fee for multiple firearms.

I believe that's the same reason why many shops will ask you if you want to add on ammo with your purchase (other than to make some more money on the markup of ammo), so you would not have to DROS again for the ammo.

There were 3 at one point. I'd never seen an Alby in the wild, then one showed up at my LGS, Barnwood, hours before I got there. I swooped it up that day. Decent example but at $525 the most expensive SKS I'd ever bought till then. About a week later another showed up at the same LGS, put in the rack about an hour before I got there. Bought it on the spot for $50 bucks more. It had a release date so I had to hold out for a while to pick up. It was a little nicer. 6 months later I was cruising my usual forums and found a third Alby, the nicest and least $pendy at $475, that had been posted on Calguns 20 minutes earlier, I was the first responder with an "I'll take it". The gunner was in SoKal, but would be passing near me on Hwy 5 the following week, and we hooked up in Tracy for a PPT. Cheaper and better all around. It's actually been humped, stock refinished, re-blue with some bits case hardened, but it's beautiful, no wear on the hammer or bolt face. The first Alby was a dupe year, '70, as the fresh one so I moved it a couple years ago for $850, The second LGS bought gun had some trench art, a soldier's name most likely. It went to a trench art collector in Oregon for $900 last month. Turned those ducats into a Hakim a week later PAX

Yes multiple firearms on 1 DROS. The only exception I had encountered was one time when I bought a C&R and a new gun at the same time, the FFL submitted 2 DROS, because the C&R one had the 10-day wait exemption while the new gun is not exempt from the wait.

Oh lordy how sweet I saw 1 trashed in prescott az once and have never seen one since there were only about 5,500 that left Albania I have read Bill Clinton encouraged the Albanian Government to destroy there small arms. during the Balkan wars.

Usually the way it works is they charge $37.19 and $10 per firearm, at least with PPTs. Makes it a bit less painful to buy a couple at the same time, which is probably why the evil overlords are so eager to restrict how many you can buy in a given time period!

Not correct. Each firearm is done on a separate DROS. There is one charge for all DROS submitted at the same time.

I DROS'ed close to 20 at one time once.
The harder part is that it takes multiple trips out of the gun shop to get all those into your vehicle when you pickup.

I usually keep it to around half a dozen.
It gets the per-gun DROS cost down by doing multiples on a single DROS.

I combine C&R's with non-C&R's all the time on one DROS fee.
Each gun goes on it's own form, but you submit as many forms as you want for one DROS fee.

Maybe, or maybe not.
He could have submitted 2 separate DROS transactions instead of doing both forms as one transaction.
Look at both your DROS printouts and see if they have the same submission time or different submission times.
That will tell you if he did separate transactions or one transaction of two forms.
