Hi, I find a gun i like on gunbroker and it is CA legal / compliant , what's the procedure to buy/ bid it and obtain it ?
do i have to find a local FFL in order for them to ship it to ?
thanks for advance

Yes call your local FFL letting them know the firearm will be shipped to them. Expect to pay around $150 for dros and transfer fees

what if it's an ar pistol?
Call your FFL and ask them if they’ll accept an AR pistol transfer. If they say no, call someone else. I had to do this when I was buying fully featured AR lowers. Some places just didn’t want to do it even though it’s perfectly legal.

AR pistols have to be configured correctly as a single shot build. Give me a ring, happy to get you sorted out.
