FSC required to sell imported guns?

Hey y'all,

I just moved to CA and have some guns I'd look to offload here. While I'm aware there's a grace period to register the guns and an FSC is required here to buy anything, can someone clarify if I can sell/transfer them to a CA resident without getting the card and/or registering them? They're all semi automatic pistols without mags.

No FSC needed to sell guns. Once you have CA ID, you may sell them to another CA resident without registering them.

Once you bring the guns into the state, you are supposed to file a "New Resident Report of Firearm Ownership" with the CA DoJ. The form is online, and the best way (or only possible way?) to file is through their CFARS online system. Obviously, if you have sold the gun within 60 days, that is not necessary. And FSC is required to file that form either.
