Getting your condo fumigated/tented.

Fumigation company has agreed to allow me to open the safe one time showing them the interior and then to close and lock it for the remainder. (I don't like the idea of showing the interior to anyone from the outside) but pick your battles I guess....I must admit I breathed a sigh of relief when he told me there are multiple other homes that have been calling about the same thing.

Hell yeah, great result. This is way better than simply leaving it open for days. Good job standing up for yourself, and it's great to have knowledgeable 2A supporters to help with situations like this.

You also still have the option to move the guns out of the safe to a gun shop or a friend's safe for temp storage, but the result you landed on isn't bad if you're okay with it.
 
Thank you all for your responses. Went thru with it and by the grace of GOD nothing was stolen nor tampered with. Walking back into my place as soon as they allowed it was scary as hell. Din't know what I was going to find. At least now because of this unwelcome intrusion into my life and personal property I have stainless steel cables around everything that can be tied down. We all know nothing can stop a determined thief but things like cables and safes can at least slow them down and I guess that's the best we can ask for.

Unless you live with a prohibited person there is no requirement to keep your guns in a locked condition. You can't leave them in a position where you can expect minors to gain access. Next time just take your guns with you.
