Glock 21.SF aftermarket upper slide build help

What’s up fellas! Hope all is well with everyone. I’m making this post as I just purchased a G21.3 from a PPT for a smoking deal that i could not pass up on. I have the Original slide but i was also given an after market ALPHA Marksman V4 slide which i know nothing about. Just want to get ideas on parts to complete or just get all OEM parts as i want to shoot smooth with small improvements. Also any ideas on a trigger upgrades.

I'm not familiar with the ALPHA shooting sports brand but according to their website listing description and your wording, I'm to assume the ALPHA slide was stripped?

I'd recommend OEM parts for the slide. I would recommend Aim Surplus aftermarket parts for the internals but they no longer ship to residences and strictly only to FFL addresses.

My favorite sights have been from AmeriGlo but I shoot OEM just fine (rear sights usually blacked out leaving a visible front sight).

Based on your recent ad, you shouldn't have too much trouble buying all these parts from a FFL in your immediate area.

I like Ameriglo sights as well. I keep my triggers stock on my Glocks.

I installed the Johnny glock combat evolution X trigger with the jg vex metal shoe with the striker package and mannn its so nice and smooth.. its an a expensive upgrade but highly recommend if you plan on keeping the gun forever

My G21SF Gen 3 has the Johnny glock EVO combat trigger (regular shoe not vex) and wilson combat pre fit match barrel. Tack driver at 15yrds. Quite heavy due to barrel. No RDO just Dawson night sights.

The best trigger upgrade is training and practice. The more trigger presses you have, the more it smooths out and becomes a joy to use. Beyond that, the most I’d tweak is just the OEM connector.

A Glock 21SF with decent defensive ammo is capable of making hits past 100 yards. Mine serves as a home-defense gun in my study and is also listed on my LASD CCW - see video below (though I rarely carry it). I’ve taken it through advanced defensive classes and pushed it out to long range steel silhouettes.

The attached photo is of my 21SF.3 with an RMR 3.25MOA. Even with fairly mediocre ammo, it was able to produce a 3-inch group at 25 yards, unsupported freestyle, if I sufficiently do my part.
