Glock 43 with 43X MOS Slide

Absolutely, been my EDC for ages!

Between the 43 & 43X?

Grip length, magazines, all corresponding components are all different.

The slides are interchangeable, but the nose of the slide is different. This only really matters if you snagged a Ramjet or something.

I was set on getting a 43X but already have a 43. What would you suggest? Any more details of why you did it?

Well, this slide is relatively new, I think I bought it at the tail end of 2023. I use hybrid holsters. Currently Stealthgear Ventcore 1.0 for my G43 & 19, and an EYV holster for my G43X. Since this one has the chalkboard finish, I do oil it pretty regularly as well.

I snagged the 43X slide because it has the MOS cut. This means I can use the Shield RMSc and it co-witnesses with OEM height irons. Plus, being the MOS cut, the optic will sit further back, which means less cleaning and less chances of brass hitting the glass compared to if I just sent the regular 43 slide off for an optic cut.
