Glock mags not seating

New transfer from Calguns.

I have an issue with Glock mags not seating. They are G23 10 rounders with #1 followers. I have a Gen 3 G23, and with one of these mags, they will not seat/click into place when I go to load the mag in.

It is almost like the follower is getting caught and not allowing the mag to click into place.

I have other mags, with higher follower numbers and they function normally.

these are new mags. Do I need to break them in? Change or upgrade the followers?

Any assistance / advice is appreciated

Have you tried to seat it empty or with the spring or the follower removed?

I tried with them empty and they won’t seat. I might have to try

Yes I do and they function normally. I will remove the follower and spring tomorrow and test if that solves the issue.
I would hate to have these 2 G23 mags not be functional.

What's different about the two that aren't working? Factory Glock mags? Different generation mags?

The mags that work are different gen mags with higher follower numbers.
These 2 are factory Glock mags with #1 followers

I have 6 G19 10-rd magazines from when I lived in CA. As many others have stated for years, they jam with hollow points, in my case, on the last round. My G19 is 3rd generation, so which follower should I buy to replace those garbage 2183's? Thanks.

I disassembled the mags, removed the followers and springs and the mags seat/click in.

I’ll contact Glock tomorrow.

Issues are more likely the follower than the spring.

Do you have any photos of the two different followers?

The followers will go down when it meets resistance. Slap it in there with your hand not just push with your thumb
