GOOD TRADE OR BAD? Need opinions.

definitely gonna look into one!
To give you some perspective, I have been looking for the ideal subcompact CCW gun. I have owned several glocks in this class including the 43, and 43X and could never shoot straight with any of them. They feel great in hand but are just to snappy and your grip tends to slip. A lot of people don't mention this con with the 43X. Shield X feels like it belongs in my hand and shoots so much better than the glocks for me personally.

Ive sold several of my glocks and now own 2 Shield X

I have a mint 2024 Staccato C with a bunch of goodies available if you're in the market. Happy to PM you but your messages are full

Also I have tried the subcompacts. Curently have a 43x/48 and P365 x macro on my ccw

Also, I would stay away from prebuilt guns. Most of the fun is building it yourself and customizing it to your taste.

Half the fun comes from customizing it yourself, the other half is trying to troubleshoot what went wrong and realizing you just turned a perfectly reliable gun into an unreliable mess before returning almost everything back to stock and learning to enjoy what you have

Just traded a 43 for a x-macro, staccato I think would be in the 43x class for sure if you wanna go the staccato route

Staccato C and C2 are 4" and 3.9" respectively. 43x is 3.4"

I'd say the biggest difference is that the Staccato and Sigs can change grip size which change the felt recoil of the gun as opposed to the slimline glock frame which can't be changed
