CAGunners, I'm a home based FFL and I provide a number of firearms for a local annual fundraiser. The event is held in the Sierra Nevada but it draws people from towns in the valley as well. Dinner tickets are about $100. It is always a sold out event. Past raffles have typically included pump and semi-auto shotguns, Savage 17 HMRs, concealed carry handguns, and an occasional deer rifle. I'm looking for recommendations on firearms that have broad appeal. $1200 is probably the upper limit on any individual firearm, but more typically they are looking for stuff in the $600 range or below. This is definitely a "user" crowd, and not "collector".

What do you suggest? They usually have at least 3 and have had as many as 5. These are usually raffles, but they have on occasion done a live auction on higher end stuff.

We do a raffle at our Biroldi feed in Lodi, had an O/U trap gun, 308 deer rifle, P365 and Hellcat this year. Winner chose the O/U. Winner was an older gentleman I think, and that would dictate the choice. The younger guys there were excited about the carry guns. Think about the demographic of attendees and let that guide you
 
Probably nothing else would get more use then a nice 10/22. Wood stock and irons if it was me, but I'd be happy winning anything. An affordable rock island 1911 would be a sweet prize.
 
I suggest evil looking AR's for added shock value here in Cali. Be sure to make them CA compliant before raffling it out.
