Gunsmiths - Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley)

Greetings good people,

Would like to open a thread. I think it’s important to have a gunsmith in your Rolodex.

I am in search of a gunsmith in the Los Angeles area, specifically in the San Fernando Valley.

Have a couple 1911s, revolvers, striker and hammer fired pistols, and rifles that may need some additional love with upgrades and maintenance.

Will like to add some contacts and develop a relationship for future business.

OP, you can stop looking, haha!!

Randall does top-notch work. Fair prices. Does what he says he will and doesn’t hold your stuff hostage for weeks/months, like some smiths.

Plus, where else are you going to see redwoods in the SFV??

For some reason I always end up in Simi Valley for gun stuff, I'm crazy far but it just happens the trades and shops that I really want are there.

Another one for Randall, recently got a muzzle brake installed and timed in like 15 minutes for a good price. Plan to go back.

Los Angeles area still works. Looks like a sprinkle of gunsmiths in the area that come
Recommended. Always good to have one in your back pocket.

May need a SAR9 slide milled for an optic, which is a clone of Glock 17. Don’t see many companies who advertise milling those and would prefer to support a local business
