Heads up - USI in Concord is redoing their waivers

Blue cards are no longer valid. You can do the new waiver online, but if you wait to do it when you get there give yourself a few minutes. Once you submit the online form then you show up and get the new card.

It was a little chaotic today with people updating their waivers.

My club sent out an email about it so I did it online, last weekend. When I showed up at the range yesterday, there was quite a line that I could skip.

You can also go up to the USI clubhouse and pick it up there. A lot less chaos.

Yeh, it’s supposed to be orange now. They are getting rid of blue card for public pistol and rifle, and the yellow card for trap/skeet; consolidating both into one orange card to keep it simple.

However, don’t get rid of your yellow qualification cards for mpr range, you still need those to shoot each individual set up you qualified with at 200.

I did my waiver online but have not gone in to pick up the new card yet.

Have you noticed any extra’s, extra words, or relief of liability in the waiver when you were signing it; compared to the old waiver……See if you folks were paying attention ……

They told us when they first notified us of the new waiver; they told us orange. I still havnt picked up the new card yet. We’ll see if it’s black or orange.

What? They just released the new waiver recently; December 30th, 2025. The only black or dark color card I can think of is DAP certification card that grants you access to DAP; are you thinking of that? Are you DAP certified? Did you take the orientation and shot your first match within 90 days of the orientation without being DQ? They issue that card after successful completion of first match.

It’s white on the other side of the card though; the side that lists the certifying range officer or instructor. Certified shooters name side is black.

That’s what they consider as the blue card; it’s a darker navy blue instead of royal blue. Under dim lighting it looks black.

It's a moot point, I'll apparently need to get a new one. But... it's black

Ok, watched the videos, signed up etc. (There was no test at the end). In one of the videos it says they will hold your card while you shoot, you must exit back through the office & pick it up when you leave. Really? That will cause a HUGE traffic jam.

I just got the new orange card on Sunday. They didn't take it when I went in to shoot. In the past, you only needed to retain a picture of the card to show them; you didn't have to have the actual card on you to shoot. I'll test that with new card this weekend.

That is old information. In the past they used to hold onto your driver's license and you would collect it when you left but now they just scan it and give everything back to you

Yeah I just mailed my annual dues yesterday. Did the liability thing online via their email.
