Feedback Holosun 507 Pro Max

Is that the price from granite for the 407comp? I have the 507comp and it's a nice huge optic. Was waiting on the pro max, but I may have to him up for that 407comp.

Yup that’s what Granite Ridge Defense is charging for the Green 407 Comp

Yeah I go back and forth between Sro and 507 Comp Gen 1 but all the new features for the Pro Max should make it a lot better than the 507 comp
507 comp dot is fuzzy to me now…Sro is crystal clear

Opposite for me…SRO and RMR are fuzzy, 507 Comp Green is crystal clear

But you know what? RMR HD is crystal clear for me, more so than the Green 507 Comp

I tried the 507 comp green on a buddies gun and it’s just short of invisible to me. Was totally bummed since “the eye sees green better”
I’ll tell you one dot I have fell in love with is the defender xl and only $200 @ scheels.

Similar experience. The SCS is the clearest for me.

i still prefer a smaller 2 moa dot so 507 comp for me. still waiting on the pro max but who knows when it'll release.

So everybody has different eyes, and astigmatism affects everyone differently. What’s clear to one person “the eyes sees green better”, somebody else may be completely colorblind to.

The Defender XL had so much promise. Unfortunately while I love the Green DXL, I have had one come DOA (which Vortex did RMA) and multiple of the same dots on my buddies’s 38 Super Comp / 9 Major guns straight up die. I shoot rather competitively, and I just can’t risk that reputation especially at Major matches.

Christian Sailer had a DXL die at Nats or an Area match last year, can’t remember which, and Graffeul took the win.

I’ve no issues with any model of my Holosuns to date.

ya, that's why i passed on defender xl. the glass was the clearest for me but if you go to r/competitionshooting you will see lots of threads and posts discussing how unreliable they are and many people switching to sro or 507comp. too bad bc the optic glass is really something

I use Holosun almost exclusively, its a little fuzzy to my eyes but I tried my friend's with the gold dot / reticle and it was actually better than my green... next one is going to be gold.

I’m gonna check out the gold as well, seems promising.
