Are you looking mainly for co-witness with iron sights? Those style direct mounts are mainly for co-witness with the stock irons.

If that’s what you like, Hk parts is a good place to go for that. They still ship but with the id verification and signature. The vendor who supplies for Hk parts for that style single claw direct optic mount the vendor should be MFI. You would be supporting local and also mom/pop; MFI is based out of fallbrook, ca. I believe he is supplied by a shop that does the machining; but the product is his patent.

If you read his website his message is 2A friendly and anti government interference; would be a good person to support.

Plus, his newer style picatinny rail that has window cuts showing the serial numbers on the top of the receiver; was a project born out of a direct request from US customs and border patrol.

If not, different picatinny rail mounts are available but every manufacturer is different where they make it with different height tolerances. But to barely clear the top of the front iron sight; you would need at least an absolute co-witness mount.

I noticed with a lower 1/3, the cheek weld turned into a chin weld for me on the brace rail; kind of uncomfortable. So I went back to absolute.
