How to find out what I can sell my firearm for.

Hello again, just a curious question if I wanted to sell a firearm how could I go about seeing how much they go for ? I haven’t fully decided yet but I’ve been thinking about selling my Glock 22 Gen 3 (.40S&W) with 6 mags. I also have about 600 rounds to rather go with it or sell separately. The firearm was bought brand new and I am the only owner it has no more then 300 rounds through it.

Very limited to the amount of people who like .40. Check what used guns have sold for in your model. Set a price that you would like to get. People will send offers and just stick to what you’re comfortable getting out of it.

I usually look online to see what the market price is and base my pricing on what I see.

Under the classifieds section there is a search classifieds option
You can type in your model and if anyone else has it listed or if it was sold in the past that can give you an idea. The price listed doesn't mean that's what it actually sold for, but should give you a ballpark

Post it in the classifieds with pictures. Glocks are hard to find nowadays in California, so you may get a decent price for it.

I’d start at 700 and prepare to negotiate if needed.

I just looked it up and you can convert these to 9mm. Don't sell yourself short unless you want to move it quickly then by all means.

A Glock 22 is common enough that you should have no problem finding comparable sales on the forum. Search the handgun classifieds and look at what a Glock 22 sells for.
