For a guide, it would be good to have methods for zeroing a pistol (optic and iron sights) using several methods for redundancy. Video links are helpful too and I've found some good ones.
This can include references to zeroing products such as bullet lasers (best, I think), universal bore lasers, gun rests, and even the Ransom Rest (expensive, but people should know about it).
Explaining how the optic adjustment works is handy too, e.g., why do the adjustments seem backward compared to the indicated direction on the optic?
The guide should include best-practices and the following discussion from members will be great too.

Adding to this, I would love it if there was a place I could go to borrow someone's Ransom Rest—to remove human error (notably my own) from the 3-5 round group one would shoot to check zero (after getting on the paper using bore lasers). I would pay for this service!
There's a small chance I may be able to offer this service myself, for a fee, especially after the costly sunk costs that come with buying a Ransom Rest. Once acquired one has it for life, as long as one has the inserts for the guns one wants to fire/test and the means and space to set it up. The biggest hurdle seems to be having a solid surface to which one can secure the RR so it doesn't move when firing.

Calguns transplant here. I am good with farm repairs etc. but computer illiterate. Need guide for posting (imbedding) pics in classified and posting an article in a thread. Also liked the fact Calguns would list the members location so when going to classifieds I would know if there were in my area, Sacramento north.
