A note on why more of the site now requires an account: automated scrapers and AI systems have been crawling our forums and classifieds at a scale. Requiring sign-in for those sections is the most effective tool we have. It takes a minute to register, it's free, and it keeps what happens here between actual members.

How To: How to Leave Feedback for Sellers

I think that same person is creating new accounts doing the same thing to other people. Seen another classified and it’s priced low with a generic description
Please report any users who request deposits. If deposits must be made, use Paypal Good & Services.. This is noted for every new user in a notification message when you sign up.

Some tips
  • Always review the account age
  • If its too good to be true, it usually is.
  • Report a user if they refuse to do deposits via Paypal G&S
  • Report if they are a new user with no history requesting a deposit
  • Review the account badges to see if they have a history here ( No guarantee, still Paypal G&S )
  • Only use digital cash payments in person.

What's the policy on leaving feedback for pleasant interactions with sellers even if you ended up not purchasing? Is feedback solely for the actual transaction?
