How well do you shoot?

You'd be an excellent combat shooter at least for the first target.... Sounds like a breathing or heart rate issue. Do you wear a smartwatch that monitors your pulse and respiration? That might give you a few clues.

Yep, have a problem with anxiety. So, when I'm having a good day, I shoot well, when I'm too stressed, can't group worth a dang. Much better than it used to be, so I have that going for me. :)

Anxiety is a motherless 🐐, everyone feels it from time to time, you're not alone.

Two suggestions, before shooting, try having a big mug of Chamomile tea (but, empty your bladder before it's your round ;-) ). Breathing exercises can make a huge difference, it's not well publicized but some of the very best military snipers in the world employ "Box Breathing" exercises before engaging their targets, look up "Box breathing" on you tube. Lastly, a single Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can help, it's not like taking Xanax, it simply has a very mild sedative effect. If you've never had it before, try it a couple of times before going to the range to make sure it doesn't make you too drowsy, you don't want to be impaired when shooting, you just want to take the edge off. Try the tea and the breathing before the Benadryl.

Let me know if any of this helps you! Good luck!
