Fixed [ISSUE] classifieds auto-bump when closed and remove details

Can I recommend when a listing is automatically closed the system does not auto-bump and does not remove the original information including the price?

This causes a few issues:
1) This pushes new and active listings down the pages and out of view.
2) Conflicting with the rules, the closure of the listing removes the pricing.
3) Users need to be aware of the [closed] tag to visually filter non-active listings.

I have no issue with keeping the site tidy. However, I feel our users should be able to view the listing with the price even after its expiration.

IMO, listings that expire should just expire in place and not allow any responses/bumps/edits.

You’re likely looking in the Marketplace section of the forum. Thats largely there for people familiar with Calguns.

The actual classifieds section does what you’re suggesting. The status are honored by the filters and cycle in and out. Comments do not bump a listing here.

In the future, once people are accustomed to the section, we’ll phase out the forum side to save space. Soon enough listings will be removed from there automatically it’s a temporary thing while people get familiar with the setup here

We'll be doing something like this soon and clearing out the forum. Thanks for the suggestion. I've marked this for follow up.

This is mostly implemented closing..

The update version coming out later this week will allow for search only open ads in the quick filter. We've also removed the forums so the number of closed , expired and sold should be removed from search search.

New version is in. Click on Classifieds, then the top right corner you can search only open ads.
