JUGGERNAUT JT-15 SSP Semi conversion

just watch a bunch of videos on putting the gas block together and how it goes on the barrel, the most common mistake is alignment, it's not obvious because there will actually be a gap in between the gas block and the shoulder on the barrel.
All of that is solved by either buying a barrel with a detent 180 degrees from the gas port or drilling a detent 180 degrees from the gas port and then using that detent to align the gas block properly.
The detent also solves the problem of gas blocks sliding on nitrided barrels because the nitrided barrel is harder than the set screw so the set screw will not bite into the barrel.

This is the kind of stuff I do every day...

yes it's nice to have a detent for sure

Even 11.5 needs a little know how. 10.5 is the shortest id ever go with my Arp. 11.5 is perfect for me with minor tuning.

Ahhhhh got it! Just got off the phone with JT and he said your only saving maybe a $100 depending on what your gunsmith charges.
Yeah I mean if you think about it why not just get the complete set from jt and save yourself the headache bro I barely bought mine I haven’t picked up yet still on 10 day waiting period .. although I got the jt semi upper already at home and sbm4 brace which slides onto the buffer tube ready to swap as soon as I pick up I also got the am I bolt release from jt
