Kimber 1911 Magazine disconnect removal

I swapped out the factory mag release on a CA compliant Kimber Rapide with a standard Wilson Combat mag release and that did the trick. It left a tiny gap in the right side of the frame though, as the CA compliant mag release had a slight different shape.

Gotcha. Thanks so much!

If your cheap, you can file down the nub that blocks trigger when no mag present. Did that to a Browning 1911 .22lr
