Hey all, 626 area guy here.

Applied for CCW with my City PD early May
I got initial app approval and Livescan clearance within a week.

I had to wait till mid July for earliest Psych Evaluation.

Took 16hr CCW class training early August.

I am now just twiddling thumbs cuz psych eval is taking forever to reach my City PD and my officer liaison has told me he’s been waiting on mine and others’ to arrive for months from Psych company.

Is anyone else similarly stuck in limbo from an otherwise relatively quick process compared to the LASD horror stories?
