Yes, the Noveske KX3 and KX5 Flash Suppresor(s) are legal in California; however, in order to be in compliance, you'll be limited to the usage of some 'fixed magazine' system.

Are you implying that the Noveske KX3 and KX5 Flash Suppressor(s) are illegal per se? Or merely informing OP about its usage in a 'featureless' configuration? Your post is a bit vague.

The Noveske N4 Infidel (which was mentioned in OPs original post) comes with a pinned and welded KX3 Flash Suppresor from factory. It is advertised as such, and more importantly, is perfectly legal to own or to use in this state in either an AR15 with a 'fixed magazine' configuration or an AR pistol.

I know it was, as that is what one of mine is with a pinned KX-5.
As others have mentioned DD is also a very solid rifle / barrel. Several of my own builds house DD barrels at their core. My Spikes Brown Recluse build had a DD 13.7 with a pinned KX-3 and it is also a solid shooter but not as accurate as the Infidel.
