Low Fee Barrel Transfer Fee FFLs

Man... I ask the FFLs in so cal this each time I try a new place out and some of them arent even familiar with it. Some have said 10%, some have said $20. One said he'd charge nothing just the background (but he didnt think the background would be mandatory yet) so it feels like there's so much ambiguity about what's required :|
 
I had a shotgun barrel shipped to 29outdoor and they only charged $5. Depending on size and if any paperwork is involved.

Same here, tried to put in an offer, it said "no bueno Californian", no barrel for you!! It didn't say that exactly, but...

There REALLY needs to be a suit filed on AB1263... what good is the RTKBA when you can't get BASIC PARTS, and every site interprets the rules completely differently!?!?

I just went to order some magazines for a rifle I picked up that comes with EU standard 3 rounders, and the 5 round ones finally showed up in the supply chain. The cheapest site said "NO SHIPMENTS TO CA", period... the others mostly wanted significant surcharges and ID verifications... EBay was OK, apparently mags are still OK for them, just "no barrels for you"... Finally went back to the importers web site, and ended up ordering there, saved a few bucks over any other option (including eBay) because they evidently realized there's no FFL required for mags.... but of course, the total was still more $$, oh well.

We can only hope that enough people show up at the polls to eject the evil tyranical overlords from their seats of power over us peons... Unfortunately I fear that "slim" hopped a train to "anywhere but here", and "nun" is passed out in a tent on some sidewalk!
 
Loose lips sink ships. Idiots on forums blabbing about work arounds tell the CADOJ where to look. They scan these forums as well as anti gun advocates wanting to be heroes by reporting anything they deem to be illegal (yet constitutionally legal).

And one by one , doors have closed because people don’t know when to shut up.
 
Nope, the problem is bad, vague laws written by morons who are just collecting donations to their next campaign, and then people from "NOT CA" that want nothing to do with the stupidity that abounds.

What we say or do on forums counts nothing against an organized enemy with a 140 page manifesto on how to use the Constitution for toilet paper going forward... by passing more vague twisted laws that can be misinterpreted 1000 ways, so no one even knows what the laws are anymore!

There's a reason the founding documents of this country were written in clear language by men who fought, bled, and in many cases died for freedom, too bad we are letting it slip away by shooting ourselves (or each other) in the foot!
