I've been on here a couple of times now. I used to have a fairly bad reputation but that seems to all be cleaned up. Lytle Creek comes with an archery range, a shotgun range, pistol range and rifle range out to 300.

The range is clean, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and it's never crowded. $30 will let you shoot all day, targets are five bucks each.

It's a little range, and it's being run out of a mobile trailer, but it's well done and well taken care of. For the cost I can't find anywhere better except Camp Pendleton, but you have to have a VA ID card or some other method of entry, and Lytle Creek doesn't require that sort of thing.

Do they still have zero tolerance on freedom mag and 1 shot per 10 seconds strictly enforced? They were super an8l about it a few years back. Another gripe is no cell signal.

That wasn't my experience.

I know they're not a fàn of mag dumping but that's about it

I Haven't been there in years. Last time I was there they were more worried about what your AR looks like than they were about safety. Got flagged repeatedly by a kid in the slot next to me, and when I said something dad got mad and an RSO told me I was over reacting. Will not be back.

I was there recently to zero in my rifles and was pleasantly surprised to find shaded shooting lines and leveled concrete floor. You can bring your own steel targets out to 100 yards any time of the year and out to 300 yards when conditions are safe. They also have built in target stands for paper targets at 50, 100, and 200 yards so you don’t have to bring your stands and hammer it to the ground.
