Major delay in becoming a LASD approved CCW provider

I submitted all of the requirements (in person) in April of 2023 and I may possibly be waiting for another number of years to become an “approved ccw provider” according to the responses that I have received from the Sheriffs’s Office.
I have enclosed a copy of the last email that I received from them when I questioned may status on their list.
Hopefully you can shed some light on this major concern that I have about this issue.

That’s too bad. I took my initial 16-hour class through one of the approved vendors and, in my opinion, it was terrible.
The instructor spent most of the 12 hours of class time telling anecdotes from his 45 years of experience as a LEO.
Several members of the class discussed how the material was not relevant to their acquisition and use of CCWs as civilians, and the instructor exploded with profanities for interrupting his “lecture.”

Sounds to me like one of those situations where you are attending to get a cert for the process, and nothing more. Personally, I could care less if the instructor was trying to sell a pile of used dildos. I want only the cert. Consider it like sitting in an airplane for twelve hours on a long flight. It’s a means to an end. If the instructor steams up like a hot fart in a cold wind, don’t ask any questions, and get it over with.

I am already a California DOJ Certified CCW Instructor that has already waited over 2-years to receive my Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Depertment CCW Instructor approval.

Wherever those communities are, those citizens who would like to use his services are being stifled by LASD because they apparently limit the number of qualified instructors. IMO it is an ongoing effort to deliberately slow-walk the entire process by department managers and the county BoS. It may certainly be one more element contributing to the excessive wait times we have seen. Hopefully the good folks at CRPA can use that info in their ongoing efforts at correcting this gross violation.

I am able to serve all of the city’s that are contracted with Myccw.us which include: Alhambra P.D., Arcadia P.D., Baldwin Park P.D., Bell Gardens P.D., Bell P.D., Claremont P.D., Downey P.D., El Segundo P.D., Gardena P.D., Hawthorne P.D., Huntington Park P.D., Irwindale P.D., La Verne P.D., Lancaster P.D., Los Angeles P.D., Manhattan Beach P.D., San Gabriel P.D., Santa Monica P.D., Signal Hill P.D., South Gate P.D., Torrance P.D., West Covina P.D.
As well as Banning P.D., Beaumont P.D., Hemet P.D., Manifee P.D., & Murietta P.D. in Riverside County.
