95% of people cant hold that accuracy or dont use the right equipment to. But in the case of the m&p pistols if the shooter is sound and the accuracy is not there then a fitted apex is almost always necessary to remove the S&W variable.

What 9mm round would be considered "match" ammo?

I know wad cutters get used in revolvers because of the holes they make in paper are cleaner (as told to me by an olympic shooter)

Bullet type is not necessarily as important as how accurately the gunpowder is loaded. Most of the big mainstream manufacturers of hollow points get you most of the way there. But fn and hp bullets make prettier holes than rn.

Personally if I want to test a 9mm accuracy I use Federal GMM 147gr. Flat nose. Reloading you can get better but realistically FGMM holds 10 and x out of great guns.

When we first adopted the 1.0 we had tons of issues with the pistols unlocking too early and inconsistently causing wild accuracy issues like in the video. I cant say the 2.0 transition was with out the ssme hiccups albeit at a lower rate.

It all depends what your goal is. If you shoot bullseye you need that level of accuracy to even be on the board. Most mainstream service pistols at 25 will hold the black on a b8 with good ammo tighter with great ammo.
But the sad truth is that most people cant hold the black without a rest.

50 yards bullseye whats the round count and cadence ? Is there a set time limit that you have to bang out a certain amount of rounds? Also is it that one handed bladed stance?

Its been many years since i shot a traditional nra style bullseye COF but the 50y if memory serves is a slowfire 10 rounds in 10 minutes on a b6

If you want to test your self on something modern try the presscheck consulting no fail drill.

25yards b8 target

10 draws 10 shots each at 3.5 seconds or less or you fail
no gamer rig. must be duty holster with real active retention or from concealment.

if you are out of the black you failed. line breaks count as in.

generally speaking you are going for performance on demand. shoot this cold first thing at the range. no warmups.

KKM and Barsto are dead nuts accurate as far as 1911 barrels. I don’t doubt the M&P barrels would be any different

The M&P Barsto barrel page doesn’t say “M&P 2.0” anywhere that I see. Do you know if it works for the 2.0?
