Hi everyone,
First-time poster. I am moving to Santa Rosa from rural northern California near where I went to university, where we have free open ranges and BLM land. Also open to paying someone to use their private range if available. Heard reviews about circle S, but all I see that it is old and barely kept up.

Also curious to hear about how often everyone in this area shoots.

Thanks!

unfortunately you gotta travel. Richmond has the most matches but Ukiah apparently exists.

I'm also Marin/Sonoma. I'm aware of Circle S and Richmond R&G. RIP Bullseye Indoor. Hit me up if you get private access!

Circle S can definitely come off as good ol boys and safety 3rd. Richmond can be a little bit overzealous and seems to add random new rules. My two Lincolns.

I miss bullseye indoor. Comments are accurate on circle S.

Not a full on range but G 4 firearms has a small indoor pistols only range if you want a place for ccw training. It’s in a converted van. You can get a membership. It’s located in Windsor

Richmond Rod and Gun for USPSA, IDPA, 2 gun , 3 gun . USI in Concord has matches and practices if you join the Diablo Action Pistol Club. Otherwise it’s standing still and slow firing every 3-4 seconds.

Can confirm other comments about Circle S. Went the other week. can get sketchy when busy with lots of new shooters and people teaching their kids or friends. Also run down but they do have 100-300 Yard range. part of the rifle range has this overhang thats extremely annoying. would probs only go there when its not busy. RRGC nice range but with rules and if im not mistaken membership is required now.
