Answered Multiple sub region selection possible?

Hi, I’m from the Greater LA area so it’s relatively easy for me to leap around LA, IE, OC, etc on a given day without too much fuss/travel time. I’m curious if it’s possible for the site to allow multiple ticks on the sub region for classified filters. (love my SD homies but I don’t usually travel down there more than twice a year)

Technically doable but we don’t because majority of people look within a particular region. This also improves speed for return results if you notice it’s realtime.

This would also add compute cost which we limit for both cost and performance reasons.

It’s easy for you to select another dropdown, so not much user input for the same goal but keeps our cost down and speed up

We do it where it makes sense but the number of results starts to grow exponentially when you add an additional dimension

Yeah, I forgot to factor compute cost at scale. There could very well be enough addicts like me lurking who compulsively stare at listings as a pastime so it’d get messy.
