What’s a one school gun you carry (or would carry)?

I carry a J frame on occasion and an HK P2000. I would carry a Browning Hi Power if I could find one that wasn’t stupid expensive…

Do you want to tell him or should I?

One of the key features of a holster is that it covers the trigger and it's an airsoft.

School gun? Might want to fix that before you get swatted 😁

You can never go wrong with a snubnose revolver. Whether it’s a humpback 38, a short barreled K Frame of any configuration, or a Colt Detective. Sure there’s other options, Rugers and such. But make sure it’s squat, ugly, preferably blued, and all business.

A J frame, or a K frame, maybe even a N frame.

Some of the gentleman in here might be horrified to know I’d say P2000… a gun from 2001 is OLD SCHOOL lol

oldest, old school gun in my carry rotation is a made in 2005 Sig p226. not carried often by any means but sometimes i get the itch for a DA/SA full size

Every gun has its purpose. My favorite all around gun is the Springfield Armory XD40 Subcompact.

This pistol till this day is what I think is a perfect all around gun. Small enough to conceal, big enough for a gun fight, and still comfortable to shoot.

The only old school carry-sized pistols I have are a West German PPK/S .380 and a S&W 60-15 J-frame .357

But I'm a tall, big guy, so I can shoulder holster a 1911 under a sport coat or jacket.

When the folks I train with vetoed the shoulder holster I was deeply disappointed. All those years of watching Miami Vice for….well not for nothing, but still.
Shoulder holsters have there place. Easy to get to sitting down, driving, etc.
