Hello all,

I’ve been selling a lot of my collection recently, (guns, optics, lights, etc) and since the push for us to use PayPal goods and services, PayPal is requesting I submit more information about my “business”. I’m locked out of my account with funds sitting there and PayPal will not allow me to withdraw until I provide this information. Any suggestions?

PayPal is anti gun. Good luck with whatever they decide.
Something similar happened to me a few years ago. It was like a 8 month process before they would do anything with the balance I had in the account. Now I don't keep anything in the PayPal balance
 
Gun stuff is against their terms of service so say something else. I don't do "goods and services" transactions because all items are sold as is. I don't sell much online vs face to face though.

Yes mine was from selling thermals. Someone put in the description what it was and that is what flagged it with PayPal I believe. But finally they released my funds after them stalling for well over 7 months
 
When I use paypal in either direction I only use friends and family, and tell people to be discreet/no comment in the transaction. Also never keep a balance in paypal. They are not a bank and constantly steal people's money (lock accounts with no recourse for the user).

As a seller, I'm not running the risk of the buyer claiming my item was damaged or not as advertised if G&S was used. If I wanted to deal with those scams I'd sell on ebay.

Be careful though, other services are also anti gun/parts (zelle for example). I'm not sure about venmo's policy.
 
I always put strip club money or something like that lol.

I just bought 2 supersafetys last night and used venmo. In past I have put fishing trip or pizza money too. Never what I’m buying. Have also bought from same seller too.
