PCSL/USPSA - Justifying all those safe queens

I’m certainly a collector with at least 4-5 firearms in the safe that have never been fired.

That said, these PCSL competitions have been a great way to have more fun with my collection (and reason to add more) rather than sitting on the static line - especially with the riffle. I’m really looking forward to this upcoming PCSL championship at RRGC in November.

Has anyone else been using PCSL or USPSA to knock the dust off, get outside, and do more running and gunning? Anyone shooting the West Coast 2-Gun or 1-Gun match?

Have you tried PCSL? A lot of fun double tapping the AR and shooting 200yrd steel under pressure. If you live near RRGC I’d highly recommend checking it out

I haven’t, no, the only rifle that I own is a SCAR-H in .308 and it’s not all that fun to double-tap. Planning on building an AR in 5.56 soon with an HK upper I bought.

I’m usually shooting USPSA in Clovis, but plan to make it out to RRGC if I can! The Bay Area bois put up some freaking crazy stages, Golden Bullet featured some hella hard stages.

We’re taking it another step… This is our first match where we integrated AR for stage design. Speeds up building and if designers use Practivism, it’ll be built exactly to spec

GBC this year was a great time

This PCSL WC2G match in November is going to be on the same level and our plan for next years major USPSA match is going to be quite the event.

I need to get back down to CCPL soon. Use to drive from the Bay for every match because the stages are so good
