Really like Sac Valley Shooting Center. Qualified to use the 300yard range earlier this year, but still need to improve the accuracy of my reloads first, IMO. ROs are cool, except when someone is crossing the yellow line. 😁 Would be nice if the 22LR range had hanging targets. Having to pickup all the dropped targets is ... eh.

Been a while since I've been to the Sacramento Gun Range, but from what I remember, it was a nice place. Bit pricy, but nice and clean. Funny story about using a Rem 700 in 308 next to some new shooters. Their faces were priceless! 😂

Laguna Shooting Center. I'll only go there if I really have an itch to run a few rounds. Otherwise, I find it a bit too small. Low ceiling height compounds the issue. However, the close quarters does get good reactions when using large pistol calibers. 😜

Anyone know what's going on with The Gun Room in EG? River City bought it, but haven't heard any updates.

We were there on 10/10. Working the 500 meter range. If you’re not a member I would say join and go shoot on that range. You are your own RO. It’s a great place to shoot every one is really cool to deal with.
 
Sac Valley, Yolo Sportsmans, and Laguna. Dont really care for any place else. I try to stay away from indoor ranges. Yahoos can be found at any range. I feel the safest at Sac Valley.
 
For Indoor, The Gun Range in North Highlands is good.

Became a member this year. Started going often enough that it made financial sense.

3 out of 5 need to be in the black of a B5 target @100yards. [Not my target] Just let the people in the office know you're interested; they give you a target. Once done, they'll take you to the RO office and explain the 300 yard range rules.

New member here. Has anyone shot at Yolo Sportsman's after bad weather. Do the ranges become too muddy to make it worthwhile to shoot?
