Question for the knowledgeable - if a person is going out of town, can he "temporarily" delete or suspend his Classified Ads and then reactivate it when he returns?

Starting Monday, the free Classifieds ad limit will be lowered from 3 to 2 active ads.
Verified accounts will keep their limit of 3. All other account limits stay the same.
Existing ads are not affected and will remain up until they expire.

I know you can close, then re-open that same ad later. I don't know if that helps.

Thanks, I was concerned that if I closed or "mark as sold" I cannot re-activate the ad

Yes, away could definitely be very useful for those of us that often travel, which would distinguish it nicely from "Closed," meaning it's still available, just not right now. I appreciate your effort to keep improving the site and adding all these useful and cool features.

I like to add things that make sense. When people let me know what they struggle with, I'll try to make some improvements.
I've added the prefix for people to switch out of. You can close or switch this way if you want it to still stay..

Slight thread jack: What is the suggested way to mark a for-sale ad that is not sold yet, but a potential buyer is interested, or it has been promised to someone but the transaction hasn't been done yet, and may still fall through?
Obviously, closing the ad work, and it can be re-opened. I could mark it "sold", but can the be undone? For today, I'll just add "pending sale" to the description.
