Radian Afterburner + Ramjet for the Echelon

Radian should be coming out with their Afterburner + Ramjet combo for the Echelon before the end of the year. If I’m running a 4.5 slide, will I need to get the smaller 4.0 slide with the Radian to fit my OWB holster? I’m not looking to get extend the 4.5 any further.

My guess is if the holster is open ended it should fit right in and the tip will be exposed

kinda weird choice on their part. Their kits are about 400 bucks and for a couple hundred more you can get an entirely new gun with a comp build in.

I have em on my 365 and Shadow MR920 but I wouldnt bother. Springfield sells the comp slide separately too already.

If Radians system lowers recoil by 5% more than a standard Springfield comp then I’d be tempted.

Yeah I don’t understand this, you can just get a comp barrel and slide or a comped gun from the get go… I would go that route in CA for fear the DOJ might get squirrelly with Ramjet/afterburners in the future (calling them lugged etc)

One advantage of a dedicated comp over an integrated one is that the slide doesn’t get as hot after a few mags. That said, a full-size Echelon will probably handle heat better than something like a P365.
